Mike är clownen i familjen, han är pigg, positiv och lekfull och med på allt och han är fullkomligt orädd för allt! Han är mycket nyfiken! Han är en högenergi hund som tycker att livet är spännande och att saker ska göras så snabbt som möjligt, han är mycket intensiv och alert och han är väldigt lätt att motivera i all träning, han är en mycket träningsbar hund och han vill vara till lags mot sin förare/ägare.
Mike är väldigt intresserad/fokuserad på djuren och han har bara startat sin vallningsutbildning. Precis som allting annat han gör så är han väldigt intensiv och med mycket fart, men han uppvisar mycket lovande vallningsinstinkter och sätt att valla på. Vi har höga förväntningar för hans framtida träning och tävling. Marianne och Mike blev väl godkända på det första testet för att bli bevakningshund hemvärnet men fortsatte inte utbildning p.g.a.tidsbrist (husse & matte ej tillräckligt motiverade)men Mike ansågs mycket lovande.Vi var väldigt förväntansfulla när Mike och hans syster föddes då vi importerat Mikes pappa Ricco från US 2001 men vi hade inte rätt tik att para honom med förrän vi fick parningsrätt på en valpkull på Mikes mamma. Mikes mamma Dixie var också importerad från USA och som är en mjuk tik och tillsammans med tuffa Ricco blev det det en mycket bra kombination. Mike stal vårt hjärta från dagen han var född. Mike har lämnat två kullar efter sig  hos FlatOut Kennel i Australien födda 2009 och vår egen valpkull född 2010) och så långt är vi mycket nöjda med avkomman. Mike skadade sig allvarligt i ett bakben sommaren 2009 och vi har darfor tagit det valdigt lugnt med hans traning. Mike is the clown of he family, he is such a happy and playful dog. Mike is very curious. He is a high energy dog that just think life is very exciting and things has to be done as fast as possible. Mike loves everyone and gets along well with other dogs. He loves to play with toys and is very easy to motivate in training of all kind, he is a biddable dog that wants to please his owner.
Mike is very keen on stock and has just started his herding education. As with everything else he does he is very intense and lots of speed and hart, but he show some promising instincts and moves. We have high hopes for his future training and trialing. Marianne and Mike passed the first test to become a watchdog for the military but we didn't keep up the education due to lack of time. But he was very promising!
We were very excited when Mike and his sister was born since we imported his sire Ricco from US in 2001 but didn't have the right female to breed him to until we got the breeding rights (for one litter) with Mikes mum. Mikes mum Dixie was also imported from US and togheter with Ricco they gave a outstanding cross. We were planning to keep the female in the litter but Mike just stole our heart from the day he was born.
Mike has sired two litters, one in Australia FlatOut Kennel and our own litter D.O.B. 2010.We are more than saticfied so far.Gunnar wont let any other breeder in Sweden use Mike in breeding. but maybe in the future maybe some breeders in other countries will get thr possibilty to us Mike in breeding if the female is from working lines and the breeder has intetions to let the offspring herd. In the summer of 2009 Mike got kicked by a cow and hurt his backleg badly and we have been taking his training very slow after that. We are very happy to own a daughter from Mike and
WTCH Crofter Holding's Liberty, Crofter Holding's Faith.
